Groth, Makarenko, Kaiser & Eidex is pleased to announce that Senior Associate Ankur Trivedi has been elected to partnership with the firm.
Mr. Trivedi focuses his practice on auto and premises liability defense as well as insurance coverage. He manages a substantial case load in civil litigation and insurance defense matters and has gained extensive mediation and first chair jury trial experience since joining the firm in September 2019.

- On February 15, 2024, Mr. Trivedi secured a favorable verdict for his client in Fulton County with the jury rebuffing the Plaintiff’s attorney’s plea for a multi-million dollar verdict and punitive damages. Click on the link to read the full story.
- On September 19, 2023, the Georgia Court of Appeals upheld Mr. Trivedi’s defense verdict in a case that tried to a 12-person jury in Barrow County. The original lawsuit arose out of a rear-end collision where the plaintiff alleged over $74,000 in medical bills. Click on the link to read the full story.
- On March 29, 2023, Mr. Trivedi obtained a defense verdict in Gwinnett County with associate attorney Davis Lackey serving as second-chair during the trial. - On January 12, 2023, Mr. Trivedi won a Motion to Dismiss in Newton Superior Court. Plaintiff filed a 2019 lawsuit against Defendant for injuries arising out of an automobile collision. However, Defendant was not involved in the subject collision, nor was Defendant served, and Defendant indicated both in her Notice of Special Appearance and Answer. Mr. Trivedi serves as a Supervising Attorney by providing firm associates with training and mentorship. He conducts weekly team meetings to ensure that the firm’s quality standards are being met, and audits associate files.
Mr. Trivedi holds a J.D. from Mercer University School of Law (2010) and a B.B.A. in Risk Management and Insurance from University of Georgia – Terry College of Business (2007). He was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2011.
