September 29, 2026. GMKE Attorney Nathan Azarowicz won a complete defense verdict this week in a case tried in the State Court of Gwinnett County. GMKE Attorney Kelsey Caudill served as second chair at trial.
The case arose out of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on March 16, 2024, on Memorial Drive in Atlanta. Liability was disputed. According to the Plaintiff, as she was driving on Memorial Drive the Defendant’s car came into her lane and “rammed her off the road.” According to the Defendant, the Plaintiff came into her lane and clipped her car. The Defendant stopped at the scene and the Plaintiff drove from the scene and made a police report later claiming it was a hit and run.
There were two Plaintiffs, the driver and passenger. Both sought chiropractic treatment and presented at trial with approximately $6,000 in medical bills. Testimony and evidence presented at trial showed no damage at all to the Defendant’s car. Further it was shown at trial that this was the Plaintiff’s fifth accident where she alleged she was hit by another vehicle and in each instance treated at chiropractor offices at the advisement of her attorneys.
Following closing arguments, the jury deliberated for about 30 minutes before returning a full defense verdict.
