July 1, 2024. Groth, Makarenko, Kaiser & Eidex is pleased to announce that Attorney Amanda Coop has been been elected to partnership with the firm. The firm is proud to welcome Amanda as the firm’s first woman partner. Her unanimous election to partnership recognizes Amanda’s wealth of legal experience in both Georgia and Tennessee which she brings to her practice at GMKE.
Amanda first joined GMKE in 2023 as Of Counsel, leading the firm’s efforts to expand its footprint into Tennessee. Prior to joining GMKE, Amanda practiced in house with one of the nation’s largest insurers, in that role she gained valuable first chair jury trial experience and worked alongside GMKE partners Jay Eidex and Joe Kaiser. After relocating home to Tennessee, she ran her own successful Plaintiffs’ personal injury practice in Tennessee with a focus on medical malpractice and premises liability cases. Since joining GMKE, Amanda has focused on handling automobile, general liability cases and insurance coverage. She will be based in the firm’s Nashville, Tennessee office and will lead the firm’s continued expansion in the Volunteer State.
Amanda earned her undergraduate degree at Western Kentucky University and attended law school at Appalachian College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in both Georgia and Tennessee. Additionally, Amanda has her Rule 31 mediator certification in Tennessee and she is a mediator with SugarloafADR.
