GMKE has made Gwinnett COunty its home since its founding 2007 as Groth & Makarenko by partners Paul Groth and Nik Makarenko. In 2017 & 2018 Partners Jay Eidex and Joseph Kaiser joined the firm respectively. Over that time, the firm has grown from a 2 lawyer startup insurance defense firm to a 25 lawyer full service civil defense firm with over 50 employees.
