November 17, 2023. Groth, Makarenko, Kaiser & Eidex is pleased to announce that Senior Associate Attorney Kevin James has been been elected to partnership with the firm.
Attorney Kevin James joined GMKE in 2020 as an associate attorney after practicing at a prominent plaintiff’s personal injury firm. While at that firm, he obtained one of the top 100 Plaintiff’s jury verdicts in the United States ($52,000,000 in a negligent security/premises liability case resulting from a shooting). Since joining GMKE and transitioning to the defense side, Kevin has handled automobile and general liability cases with significant exposure and has tried multiple cases to juries. Of note, all of Kevin’s trials to date have resulted in defense verdicts. In addition to his trial experience, his advocacy has resulted in countless great outcomes for his clients. His practice continues to focus on automobile, premises & general liability defense.
Kevin attended Florida Gulf Coast University where he obtained his undergraduate degree. He attended law school at Stetson University. He is licensed to practice law in both Georgia and Florida. Kevin is also a registered mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution and brings both his experience as a plaintiffs attorney and defense attorney to the table as a mediator with Sugarloaf ADR.
