This is a multi-year partnership between From Hunger to Hope Gwinnett and GMKE which dates back to 2018. From Hunger to Hope partnered with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) to host a mobile pack event at the Gwinnett
County Fairgrounds where thousands of volunteers come together to pack life-saving meals to feed starving children worldwide. Approximately 45 million young children across the globe suffer from severe malnutrition each year – that’s nearly one out of every three children under 5 years of age. The World Food Program estimates that 345 million people will be food insecure in 2023 – more than twice as many as in 2020.
From Hunger to Hope also partners with the North Gwinnett Co-Op for each of their mobile pack events where they collect food items to be distributed to those in our community in need. In 2023, GMKE was also a participant in this event and the meals packed fed over 2200 children in El Salvador, Honduras, The Czech Republic, Haiti, Guyana, Malawi and Ukraine. GMKE is also proud that From Hunger to Hope Gwinnett and FMSC consistently receive high praise from charity watchdog organizations for its accountability and transparency.
On Friday March 8, 2024, GMKE employees once again to assist in packing meals to help children worldwide. Through this partnership our employees are able to have an extremely hands on experience knowing what they are doing is making a tremendous difference in children’s lives. Additionally, the event provides a 
great opportunity to work together as a team toward a common goal.
