About MElek
Melek graduated from Florida State University in 2021 with a Bachelors in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy and Sociology. She went on to earn a Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee Winston College of Law in 2024.
Prior to joining GMKE, Melek worked as an Eviction Right to Counsel attorney for a non-profit firm in Nashville. She was able to represent tenants facing housing discrimination and help prevent evictions. She joined GMKE in May of 2026 as an associate in the firm’s Nashville, Tennessee office.
Melek resides in Nashville, Tennessee. In her free time, she enjoys reading, needlepoint, baking, and spending time with her rescued mini dachshund named Dolly.
