About Kevin
Kevin is a native of Port Charlotte, Florida. He Attended Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies with an emphasis in Political Science. He then attended Stetson University where he obtained his Juris Doctorate.
After graduating from law school, Kevin began his legal career in Columbus, Georgia where he lived while his wife was in the military and stationed at Fort Benning. Upon moving to the Atlanta area, Kevin practiced with a well known Plaintiff’s personal Injury Firm where he gained extensive first chair jury trial experience. During this time, he obtained one of the top 100 Plaintiff’s jury verdicts in the United States ($52,000,000 in a negligent security/premises liability case resulting from a shooting).
Kevin joined Groth, Makarenko, Kaiser and Eidex in 2020 where his practice focuses on auto and premises liability defense. Kevin is licensed in the State Courts of Florida and Georgia and is a member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association, the Tort and Insurance Section of the State Bar of Georgia and CLM. He has extensive first chair jury trial experience, representing plaintiffs and defendants, and serves as a Partner at GMKE. In addition, Kevin is a registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution and serves as a mediator with Sugarloaf ADR.
Kevin resides in Stone Mountain, Georgia with his wife and three children. In his spare time, he enjoys watching sports and spending time with his family.
