About KAITLYN
Kaitlyn was born in Mississippi, living there until moving to Florida in 2014. She attended Florida State University in the dual degree program, graduating in 2022 cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Political Science and a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Social Science with a primary concentration in Economics and a secondary concentration in Sociology. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the Marquette University Law School in 2025 and received a Sports Law Certificate.
While attending law school, Kaitlyn was Editor-in-Chief of one of the preeminent sports law reviews, Marquette Sports Law Review, Business and Events Editor for the Marquette Intellectual Property & Innovation Law Review, President of the Sports Law Society, member of the National Negotiation Competition, winner of the Fall 2023 Marquette Collegiate Athletics Negotiation Competition, Student Ambassador, and a volunteer with Legal Action Wisconsin’s Bankruptcy Petition Clinic.
Kaitlyn has gained experienced interning with University of Notre Dame and University of Minnesota’s Athletic Compliance Offices, working in bankruptcy doing student-loan adversary proceeding work, and working briefly in workers’ compensation, all while attending law school. Kaitlyn joined GMKE as an associate attorney in April of 2026.
Kaitlyn resides in Atlanta and enjoys reading, cheering on the Florida State Seminoles, and trying new restaurants.
