About HANNAH
Hannah is native to Alabama and was born and raised in Gadsden. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Information Sciences in 2010 from the University of Alabama. After completing her undergraduate studies, she obtained her Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law in 2013. Before private practice, Hannah worked as a deputy district attorney for both the 15th and 16th Judicial Circuits, where she gained significant trial experience by prosecuting numerous criminal matters, including felony and capital murder cases. Since joining private practice, Hannah’s legal career has focused on insurance defense, handling matters including personal injury defense, premise liability, professional liability, civil and business litigation, and general insurance defense.
Hannah joined GMKE’s Alabama office in July of 2026. She is admitted to practice before all state courts in Alabama, as well as the Northern, Middle and Southern United States District Courts.
In her free time, Hannah enjoys traveling, cheering on the Crimson Tide and spending time with her husband, Burns, and two children, Jack and Morgan.
