About Kent
Kent graduated from Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska with a B.A. in Literature and earned his Juris Doctorate from the Georgia State University College of Law.
Kent focuses his practice on defending clients in automobile accidents, premises liability, and workers’ compensation cases. Kent has successfully litigated claims in front of the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation at both the Trial and Appeals level and has experience representing both employers and insurance companies as well as injured employees and plaintiffs. Kent’s diverse background gives him a more complete perspective of injury claims, which allows him to better represent individual defendants, companies, employees, and insurers.
Kent joined Groth, Makarenko, Kaiser & Eidex as an associate attorney in April of 2025. He is a member of the Gwinnett Bar Association, Atlanta Bar Association, and the State Bar of Georgia – Workers’ Compensation Section.
Kent currently resides in Midtown Atlanta. In his free time, he participates in amateur pool leagues and spends time with his dog, Knight.
