About Katelyn
Katelyn is from Jonesboro, Georgia and studied at the University of Georgia where she graduated with a B.S.E.S in Entomology. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 2023. During her time there, she was a member of Emory Law’s Mock Trial Team where she competed and served as Director of Finances. She was also named to the Order of the Emory Advocates for achievement and contribution to advocacy activities. During law school, she clerked in American Samoa assisting with human trafficking and wage violation cases and externed in the Legal Division of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
After graduation, Katelyn gained experience as a Litigation Associate at a commercial litigation firm representing restaurants, nightclubs, and bar lounges.
In 2024, Katelyn joined Groth, Makarenko, Kaiser, & Eidex. As an Associate Attorney, her practice focuses primarily on automobile, premises, and general liability claims.
Katelyn resides in Duluth, Georgia. In her free time she enjoys hot air ballooning, ballroom dancing, collecting fossils, and hanging out with her family and pet bird.
