About Jessica
A native of Gwinnett County, Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Georgia in 2016. Jessica began attendance at John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Georgia in 2017, and earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2020. During her time in law school, Jessica received the CALI Award in Labor Law and interned at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission under the Supervisory Administrative Judge, assisting in the assessment of allegations of unlawful discrimination by federal employees against federal agencies and organizations. After becoming licensed to practice law in 2021, Jessica worked as Junior Corporate Counsel at a national asset management company. Jessica joined Groth, Makarenko, Kaiser & Eidex as an Associate Attorney in November 2023 with a focus on the defense of automobile, general and premises liability cases.
Jessica is a first generation Mexican-American who earned her Spanish/English Legal Interpreter Certificate from the University of Georgia in the Spring of 2023. She is a member of the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association, the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association, the Tort & Insurance Section of the Georgia Bar and CLM.
Jessica and her husband reside in Lilburn, GA with their dog and cat. In her free time, she enjoys reading mystery and thriller novels, traveling, spending quality time with her family and friends, and listening to podcasts.
