About IAN
Ian was raised in Carrollton, Georgia, and finished high school at Saddlebrook Preparatory School, a boarding school and tennis academy outside of Tampa, Florida. Ian went on to play NCAA Division 1 tennis at Campbell University on an athletic scholarship. After graduation, he continued his education at Emory University School of Law, where he took part in several litigation courses. In his third year of law school, Ian worked as a corporate counsel legal extern for The Coca-Cola Company at their global headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
Prior to joining Groth, Makarenko, Kaiser, and Eidex, Ian worked at an Atlanta-area criminal and family law firm, handling many types of cases in all stages of litigation including first chair jury trial experience. His practice at GMKE focuses on automobile and premises liability defense. Ian is licensed in all Courts of Georgia and is a member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association and CLM.
Ian resides in Atlanta, Georgia, and enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching sports, and cooking in his spare time.
